John Mason
John is the Co-founder of Convergent, a member of the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors. He has more than 40 years of experience in originating, structuring and managing complex financial transactions. Prior to founding Convergent in 1998, he held senior positions at AT&T Capital - Capital Markets Division, Citicorp Industrial Credit- Structured Finance and served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tom Thumb Foods. He is a former U.S. Navy Submariner, serving aboard the Fleet Ballistic Missile Class, USS Benjamin Franklin (SSBN 640). John holds a BA degree from Concordia College and attended Citibank Accelerated Training at Harvard Business School. John serves on the board of several non-profit organizations.
